I’ve been shooting or filming with some sort of camera since my parents let me use their giant VHS camcorder in the late ‘80s. Over the years I’ve gotten a little better equipment occasionally, but my favorite piece of advice about shooting still comes from Chase Jarvis:
“The best camera is the one that’s with you.”
So long before smart phones, I had a camera with me. There’s some good-looking stuff, and some not so great-looking stuff, but I’ve tried to include here simply the interesting stuff that’s grabbed my attention over the years. Mostly involving little moments with interesting people in mundane places. Thanks for taking a look!
