Ben Stein or Gilbert Gottfried?

Ben Stein. Definitely. I have a begrudging respect for Gilbert, given that he is arguably the single most obnoxious and grating voice in the universe (Fran Drescher does not even come close in my book). Plus, Ben Stein was in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. That alone qualifies someone for a certain degree of lifetime coolness. Good question

My gut is with Gottfried. I feel like he's constantly asking, "Want to hear the most annoying sound in the world?!" That's something pretty special. Plus, through the years, whenever Jamey and I have wanted to describe someone as "a cross between so-and-so and so-and-so," ending with, "and of course, Gilbert Gottfried," almost never doesn't feel like it's not the wrong thing. He's like the cayenne pepper of the human race.

Good point, Geoffrey. Of course, of we're discussing most annoying voice, I'd be remiss if I didn't throw Bobcat Goldthwaite in the mix...

Returning to this convo: yes, Gilbert, Jamey and I have also had a special something for some time. In fact, one of the proudest introductions I will take credit for in my young life is introducing a young and impressionable Jamey Long to Gilbert.

Not Gilbert in person, of course. That would just be...wrong. But Gilbert and his inimitable voice.
