Hey Becc,

I did the Starbucks challenge thing this morning, per your demand. Quick question: what are the legal implications if I win?

If I win, for example, a lifetime’s worth of free coffee, am I legally required to share all of it with you? I mean I probably will, but I’m just wondering what my actual obligation is, and I’d like to retain the ability to not share any of it when I’m mad at you. Is that something you could check on and get back to me about?

I just don’t want to win something if there’s going to be strings like that attached. It kinda of sucks the joy out of winning. I like to share with you most of the time, but I don’t want to go to jail if I don’t feel like sharing my fairly-won coffee with you once in awhile.

Again, I will probably share most of the time, but I don’t know if it will be worth it if I am legally required to share fifty percent of it with you one hundred percent of the time.

I will look forward to sharing a cup sometime with you, especially if I’m not required to.
