ANTI-RAPUNZEL.

It's not that I especially enjoy having my deficiencies pointed out to me, but I can respect when they're pointed out in either a) a constructive manner or b) blunt-force brazen insult. I'm not sure which of those categories this falls into, but it's certainly my favourite criticism I've received this week.

To me, said with intent to mortally wound:

"You have tiny hair, and you can hardly even do a ponytail."

I looked in the mirror and realised that yes, my hair is tiny right now, and it is very hard to manage a ponytail with tiny hair. It hurt. But it was true. Words hurt. Know what else hurts? Scissors when they miss your hair and cut your ear. And I don't want tinier ears. That would be too much for me to emotionally handle right now.
