Children, adults, et cetera.

At some point,
children turn into adults,

students into teachers,
and proteges into mentors.

I think the very best adults,
teachers,
and mentors

don't let go of what they once were,
and still should be.

Adults with childlike enthusiasm, curiosity, and imagination.

Teachers who ask more questions than give answers.

Mentors with humble spirit, not afraid to still stumble and ask for advice.

I really do believe in the idea that there is - or may - always be someone watching* you; someone looking to see how you live your life. So live it with integrity, with kindness, with confidence, interest, empathy, and verve. Maybe that's one thing I love about kids. Honesty about who their major influences are (pictured).

Good night, earth.
