I can tell she's really good at this, and this, and that.
My brothers came to visit. They napped, together, and played with our daughter, together; a great deal of her personal time is spent practicing the Ancient Art of Trying to Suck Your Upper Lip.
She practices a great deal.
She also adores listening to one uncle play piano while the other bounces her around. Music is in her blood. I can tell.
How many parents say that every day? They see their child doing something they love, and announce proudly that strangely and coincidentally, their child is really into that same thing, and clearly has a preternatural, if not savant-level ability to understand it.
So like I said, our daughter, strangely, seems to just love music.
And her uncles.
Also…three things I desperately want:
a 1950s black typewriter
a 1950s Polaroid camera
a pogo stick
Also, I think our daughter wants those things too. I saw her looking, and I think she really is going to have a good eye for shooting, a great brain for writing, and a great coordination for bouncing on things.
