As many of you know, I dislike the raising of the visual over the written. Thank goodness for painters and for writers. It’s a big universe and there’s many ways to fill it up with beauty, ideas, stories, and information conveyance.

Every once in a while, that whole idea about an image saying something that’s difficult to put into words…well, there may be something to it. This is my grandparents and what this says about their decades-long relationship is so much.
